Information Center - (10 a.m.–7 p.m.) Open for tickets, itinerary (Exception: Noon–6 p.m. Sun., Nov. 29).
English Market - City Auditorium (10 a.m.–7 p.m.) – (Exception: Noon-6 p.m. Sun., Nov. 29) Thirty plus crafters selling gifts and holiday treats. Also, new this year: Charles Village Market at SACA Lodge, one block west of City Auditorium. More vendors, more fun.
Carriage Rides – Every day (weather permitting) next to Fezziwig’s. Free will offering.
House Tours - (Noon–4 p.m.) average tour is 45 minutes. Tours available at 12, 1, 2, 3 and 4 p.m. The charming Garrison home of Ron and Judy Olson, 121 5th St. NE, offers history and character. Tickets ($4) at the Information Center. Bus giving free rides to and from the tour house from City Auditorium.
Historic Tour - (Noon–4 p.m.) Holmes’ Home, gray house next to the High Tea, average tour 45 minutes, a "museum" of whaling and early lighting artifacts. Tickets ($4) at the Information Center. Tour groups limited to 12 people.
Doubledecker Bus Rides - (12:30, 3:30 and 5 p.m.) The 12:30 and 3:30 p.m. trips (each 45 minutes) go to Fort Stevenson Guardhouse to view historical and heritage displays. The 5 p.m. ride includes being part of the lighted parade on Main Street. ($2 for each passenger who requires a seat).
Special Events -- 2-4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, Touchstone Energy Day at Fezziwig's. Coffee and cookies, music.
Historic/Heritage Side Trip - (12:30–5 p.m.) Fort Stevenson Guardhouse, Fort Stevenson State Park, 3½ miles south of Garrison. View the displays, murals and learn about life during the days of the original fort.
English High Tea - (1 p.m.–4:30 p.m.) First Congregational Church, 1 block east of Four Seasons Restaurant. Tickets ($5 adults, $2.50 for youth 10 and under) at the door. View the festival of trees. Craft sale, too.
Historic Walking Tour – View antique and collectibles at area businesses. No charge. See story in Gazette about what’s available for viewing.
Street Food Vendors – Main Street. (4 p.m.–6 p.m.)
Lighted Parade – Main Street. (5:30 p.m.) Farmers Union Oil Co. and Farmers Union Elevator sponsoring hot cocoa during the parade.
Holiday Sing-along – Kota Theater (7 p.m.) An old fashioned sing-along before each play for ticket holders. It’s fun - thanks to our sponsors from Reservation Telephone Cooperative and North Dakota Long Distance.
Live Stage Performance, Kota Theater (7:30 p.m.) Every Friday and Saturday evening, "A Christmas Carol," a play adaptation by Jude Iverson of Charles Dickens’ novella. Tickets ($14, nonrefundable) go on sale beginning Nov. 9, see information above. There is no play Sunday, Nov. 29. Doors at the theater open at 6:30 p.m. for last minute ticket sales. If play tickets for the current day's performance are not sold out, tickets will also be sold at the North Dakota Firefighter's Museum (Main Street, middle block) from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on a first come, first served basis.
Special Events - Afternoon Entertainment
2 p.m. – KOTA Theater – No reserved seats. Tickets ($5) sold at the door. Pre-school aged children free. All performances about 45 minutes - 1 hour EXCEPT the Christmas Concert Nov. 29 with hte Dickenson Carolers from Fargo. That performance will be approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes long.
Friday, Nov. 27, 2 p.m. -- Milo Hatzenbuhler, a unique entertainer, talks about his farm and music superstar life while entertaining with parody and novelty songs about life on the farm.
Saturday, Nov. 28, 2 p.m. -- Courtney Krzmarzick, talented high school vocalist/guitarist who will make you say someday "I knew her when ..."
Sunday, Nov. 29, 2 p.m. (1 3/4 hour show) -- Christmas Concert with Dickenson Carolers from Fargo, a blend of Lutheran pastor, headhunter, marketing coordinator and fundraiser. A married couple Dave and Kim Wagner, together with friends Mary Seiffert and Pete Anderson to make up the quartet. They’ll sing solos, duets and quartets of Christmas carols, with lively wit and humerous bantering.
Friday, Dec. 4, 2 p.m. -- Garrison Jammers, toe tapping fun with Dixieland flaire. Local favorites who will become yours.
Saturday, Dec. 5, 2 p.m. -- Centennial Singers from Harvey, a 30-voice men’s choir singing many favorites including Broadway show tunes.
Friday, Dec. 11, 2 p.m. -- Larry Chapman, former Vegas performer and backup for entertainers from Ray Charles and Bill Haley and the Comets to the Righteous Brothers and Three Dog Night. Vocalist and instrumental.
Saturday, Dec. 12, 2 p.m. -- Klabunde Sisters, talented sisters who will delight audiences with Christmas and Christian melodies.
